More Senior Pictures...

This is my one of my favorite images of Devon - the lighting was just perfect for more of a serious/moody shot.

I also have to share these shots taken toward the end of our 2 hour session. Devon's fun personality came out in full force and I enjoyed trying to keep up with all of his fun!

How can you not have a great day when you are photographing adorable kids?! This little one - is only a few days old and his big brother was there to help out with the photo shoot.

I love taking pictures of the fathers with their newborns. The contrast of strength and vunerability creates a powerful image.

Big brother, hiding his smile behind his favorite blanket.... a reminder to me and to my clients that bringing a favorite and comforting toy or blanket can help little ones to feel more comfortable.
Wow - I have been a bit busy this past week. On Monday I was the photographer for the Swing For Kids Celebrity Golf Tournament benefiting the First Tee of Greater Seattle Golf program for kids. In the picture on the left Jack Sikma is patiently "tending the flag" while the rest of his team putts. The picture on the right is more of an artisitic shot...

Good Sports!

I love to work with families that are willing to do something different! I think when we step out of the box of traditional family portraits we are rewarded. These pictures were taken at the very end of our portrait session in the Cedar River. It was a little "touch and go" as we carefully crossed the river- but we all made it!

Seniors & Siblings!
Right before we left for California I was able to take a few pictures. With siblings I never know what will happen. However - I usually have a pretty good idea of their relationship after taking their pictures. These two obviously have a great relationship which made my job very easy and fun!

Then I was off to work with Jamie - knowing her fun and enthusiastic personality, I was looking forward to our time together. I think hot pink is her color - don't you?!
